Ben Franklin virtues
Not many people know that Benjamin Franklin was also on a path of personal development. Early in his 20’s Franklin realized he needed to take his personal growth in his own hands. Thus, on a voyage back from England to the American colonies he conceived of 13 virtues after which to model his behaviour.
Franklin freely admitted that he did not reach perfection in any of the virtues to which he aspired. But, he did recognize that the was a much better man and reached his success for having tried to perfect himself.
This book expands on these virtues, give a few tips and helps the reader understand what Franklin may have meant by each virtue and how to adapt these to life in the 21st century.
